Nepal - Annapurna circuit trekking also knows as round Annapurna trek which is one of the popular trekking destinations of the World. Annapurna circuit trek offering grand view of the 3 highest mountain range of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Manaslu including ranges of snow capped trekking peaks over 6,000 meters in the Himalayan range of Nepal. The trail follows the Marshyangdi River all the way to its source, the glacial lake in Manang, through the rural farm villages and terraced farm field from the sub-tropic climate to the arctic landscape and through the rain forest to the alpine timbers. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Namaste & welcome to the land of Himalayas. While you are landed at the Tribhuvan intl. airport, Kathmandu Nepal, Himalayan Planet Adventures representative welcomes you and transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, bring you at head office and briefing about the program and evening we’ll pick up you for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural program and overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Day of Kathmandu city tour
This morning we take you city tour after your breakfast to the world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and visit the highlights of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas. We take you to visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is place of thousand of devotees, Saddhus (holy men/Baba), and can be seen the cremating body most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati. Hundreds of monkeys are giggling with you and take a time to exploring surrounding area and visit Bouddhanath stupa an another pilgrimage centre which is most popular and important place for Buddhist.
After visiting Bouddhanath stupa we’ll drive to the City of Devotees (Bhaktapur Durbar Square). This traditional and traffic free town is the third biggest town in the Valley. We will explore the medieval like squares, courtyards and temples of this vibrant town. After a stop for lunch at restaurant in Bhaktapur it’s time to drive back to Kathmandu and meet up with your travel consultant & fellows to prepare for next day and overnight at the hotel. Alternatively, the same group may have option to choose same 3 sightseeing place inside Kathmandu valley instead of these given place.

Day 03: Drive to Besishahar (830m/2,723ft)
After preparing for trekking to Annapurna circuit, morning we drive 6-7 hrs by private transport to Beshishahar through the scenic countryside and river view. This is an interesting drive through the foothills of the Himalaya. En-route to Pokhara our route diverts from the town village of Dumre towards north to Beshishahar. This is big town and district headquarters of the Lamjung, where you have time to explore the surrounding area and overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Trek from Beshishahar to Bahundanda (1,310m/4,298ft)
Today, we begin our trek from Beshishahar with finest view of Hiunchuli and peak 29 (Ngadi Chuli) through crossing some local wooden & bamboo bridges reaches at Bhulbhule. It then continues to Ngadi village for lunch passing the waterfall through the river bank before reaching at Bahundanda (Priest hill) for overnight. This is a nice village on a top of hill and you may have chance to explore the evening time to local village and around the school area the overnight at teahouse.

Day 05: Trek from Bahundanda to Chamje (1,410m/4,626ft)
After a breakfast the trek descends to Syange village crossing fields and local villages, a short downhill walk brings you Syange village is reached after crossing a long suspension bridge, and our trek continues gradually uphill from the river and the last steep climb to get to Jagat for lunch stop. From here an hour further walk on rocky path & long scenic waterfall across the river and finally brings you at Chamje for overnight stop. You can visit around the small villages but nothing to important for good view.

Day 06: Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft)
From Chamje a short walk brings to a suspension bridge over the raging Marshyangdi river, after crossing the bridge it's another steep climb for another 2-3 hours till Tal, the village is situated on the gorge-valley by the side of the river Marshyangdi and decorated with beautiful waterfall & sandy spread river. Further trek follows the upstream up to the Dharapani, which is through the rocky trails and crossing few suspension bridges and small teashops bring you at quite large village at Dharapani for the overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft)
We are continuing our trek further to Chame. The trail follows the river Marshyangdi upstream passing by the villages of Latamanang and Koto before further half an hour brings you at Chame for overnight at the hotel. This is head quarter of Manang district with grand view of Annapurna II.

Day 08: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,700m/12,139ft)
The trails leads from the other side of the river on the northern bank passes through pine woods and small villages with few ups and downs till you reach the orchard village of Bhartang for apple garden. We continue on the gradual path up to a bridge, from the bridge a short steep climb through the pine forest brings you at the top of the ridge of Dhukur Pokhari for the lunch. After walking out of the tree line a great view of Pisang peak on the north and the Chulu peak can be seen with Pisang village below you, from this top a gentle descent of one hour brings you to windswept village of Pisang for overnight. Evening visit upper Pisang for the Tibetan style of houses and monastery with panoramic view of the Annapurna range and valley.

Day 09: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,500m/11,482ft)
The trek starts with pleasant walk through pine forest and the scenic view. The walk climbs gently up for half an hour and reaching the top, stop at a ridge to get our first view of the Manang valley, This grand spot offers a spectacular views of the valleys, Humde village with it is short air-strip and the great peaks of Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, Tilicho and on the right Chulu east, on the back Pisang peak. The walk gently forward to Humde and pleasant walk up to the Braga village for traditionally built up Tibetans style of houses and if can be visited the monastery, it has an outstanding display of statues, thankas and the religious manuscripts. From here it is only an hour walk to Manang for the overnight.

Day 10: Hiking or acclimatization day at Manang (3,500m/11,482ft)
Today is full of rest for acclimatize and explore Manang. The village of about 500 flat-roofed houses is the picturesque set amongst some spectacular scenery -Annapurna II, Annapurna III (7,555 meters), Gangapurna (7,454 meters) to the South - Tilicho (7,132 meters) and the Grand Barrier to the West - Chulu West (6,583 meters) and Chulu East (6,059 meters) to the North. After explore and relaxing day at Manang, visit Himalayan Rescue Association and if needed go for movie show.

Day 11: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft)
After a wonderful time at Manang, the trail leads to a slow climb up for an hour to the Tenki Manang for enclose view of the Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho peak. The track gently winds up offering inspiring views and through terrains with juniper bushes as the only surviving vegetation around this region and will brings you at Yak-Kharka for the overnight.

Day 12: Trek from Yak Kharka to Throng Phedi (4,400m/14,432)
We start our trek with slow and own pace to get to Phedi. We still have same amazing view of mountains and landscapes. After an hour walk reaches at Ledar and continues to climb along the east bank of the Jorsang Khola, then descends and crosses the stream on a wooden bridge to get a small tea shop. We stop for wonderful view and tea breaks, we follows a narrow path across a high, unstable slope before heading to Thorong Phedi for the overnight. Phedi, which means 'foot of the hill', is a common Nepali name for any settlement at the bottom of a long climb.

Day 13: Trek from Throng Phedi to Throng La (5,416m/17,765ft) to Muktinath (3,800/12,467ft)
Today is longest and hardest day of the whole trip. We start our walk early in the morning with packed lunch and the trail becomes steepest initially and reaches at high camp. Walk on your own pace viewing with sunrise and glimpse of the mountains. We continuing walk to the top takes 3-4 hrs to the Throng top and with a great feeling of victory take a short breaks for picturesque scenery and down to the Mustang part of mountains and the Kaligandaki valley far below to the West. Finally, we made to Muktinath after 7-8 hrs long walk and overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,500m/8,200ft)
Today, we wake up early to the divine sounds of temple bells and visit the famous pilgrimage center to Muktinath Temple area. After breakfast it is an easy trek down to Kagbeni. The trail descends through a dramatic, arid landscape all the way to Kagbeni. To reach Kagbeni one must travel on either side of the Kaligandaki River. The left fork continues up the river to Kagbeni. Probably you can make your lunch spot to Kagbeni.
After few hours walking from Kagbeni we reach at Jomsom, a large town and the headquarters of the Mustang region. It has an airstrip just above the Kaligandaki River and is also a major village on the Kaligandaki area linking the age old Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade route to Tibet. This is capital town of Mustang district where can overnight and looking for next day flight to Pokhara.

Day 15: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)
This morning we pack our bags and get ready for the exciting mountain scenic flight to Pokhara. The flight transit through between two high peaks Mt. Annapurna (8,091m/26,538ft) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,788ft) and give us a wonderful opportunity to enjoy with best views of surrounding Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. We have full day at Pokhara to enjoy with its natural side and overnight stay at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 16: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Morning we will drive by regular tourist bus (alternate you can book the flight on additional cost of US$ 100.00 per person) through the scenic countryside and en route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.

Day 17: Leisure at Kathmandu
This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure at your own or can be extends your extra trip with us on additional cost or time to explore the Thamel for last day shopping and evening company will meet you for the farewell dinner and overnight at hotel. If the Jomsom to Pokhara flight might delay or cancelled this might be your reserve day.

Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu
Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. Meals and Accommodation
The company will provide all meals on full board basis during the Annapurna circuit trekking. This Annapurna circuit trek is based on lodge/teahouse and we will be providing meals on three times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea & coffee in a cup basis during the meal) from the lodge/teahouse menu. The meals consist of a variety of American cuisine and numerous traditional Nepali & Chinese dishes. During the stay in Kathmandu & Pokhara meals on breakfast basis including welcome & farewell dinner is included in the price. Snacks, fruit & juice, bottled drinks including mineral water and alcohol are not included in the price.

We provide 4 nights twin sharing accommodation on 4 star deluxe hotels during the stay in Kathmandu, 1 night twin sharing accommodation on 3 star standard hotels during the Pokhara, and remaining night in teahouse during the Annapurna circuit trekking (single occupancy available on US$ 175.00).

Trekking Group
This Annapurna circuit trekking is based on group joining trip in Kathmandu and the minimum number will be 2 pax and max 10 pax based on group booking. For single also we organize the trip with single supplement. Please make sure that you do have a group joining before you book the trip and we do organize the trip in large on request but small group that mean we can provide our best services during the trip.

Physical Requirements
Annapurna circuit trek is seems easy and does not require that you have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience. It does not require any technical experience too; only that you are in good physical & mentally conditioning and be able to hike for 4-6 hours over hilly terrain with a light day pack. Before the trip booking with us please consult with your Medical Doctor once and in Doctor References go for your trip booking process with us. 

Trek Leaders and Staffs
A decade experienced in the adventure tourism our incredible guides and staffs are the back bone of the company who are selecting based on highly skilled professionals with their technical proficiency, proven safety records, careful judgment, patient and supportive teaching styles and great personalities. - Our operation is smooth as a safety concern:For our trek group, there will be one Leader and one Sherpa porter for two persons and above this will be one Leader, one assistance leader and one Sherpa porter based on two persons. This ensure if in case of one get sick, it would not disturb the itinerary and fellow members, the trip still running as plan as in itinerary. And please understand that our group starts from 2 and maximum it goes up to 10 which is good team to communicate and facilitate in every manner.
- Porter Care:In our group member each has allowed his/her gear bag weighted not exceeding than 15kgs/33 pounds that we strongly care of porters rights and solely against any exploitation on its operation and we are closely working with IPPG (International Porters Progress Group)

This Annapurna circuit trek itinerary specially tailored considering with a high degree of minimization of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). Normally, altitude sickness starts from 3,600 meters/11,808 feet and there is no problem below this standard but our trip is above this standard which have acclimatization day in Manang. Please check about high altitudes sickness by Dr. Jim Duff from Australia.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. This comprehensive travel insurance provides coverage for trip cancellation and interruption, travel delays, loss of baggage and travel documents, baggage delay, medical expenses and helicopter emergency assistance. 

Climate and Weather
Nepal is a country of diversified in a topography starting from 60 meters to top of the planet 8,848 meters at the top of Mt. Everest. We have dry season from October to May and the wet season (monsoon) from June to September. For the Annapurna circuit trekking mid September to December is one of the best times and also March to May good to trek in Annapurna round. During the autumn the vegetation is lush after the rains of the monsoon and the air is clean and fresh and spring can be a little dusty but with pleasant & warm weather.  December to February is good for visibility but cold in high altitude as well as Kathmandu too. Starting the rain from June and till the mid of the September and cloudy weather badly for visibility. 

Passport and Visa Requirements
Before you traveling to Annapurna circuit trek please check your passport and validity date. Passports most have at least 6 months validity after finish date of your trip. We most require your copy of full passport details send by fax or scan copy is most preferable. In Nepal you will require a visa which can be obtained in advance from the Nepalese Embassy from your country or you can get on arrival at the airport in Kathmandu (Peak season you need to wait long in airport during the obtaining visa).  Fees to be levied while issuing tourist visa by the Mission or entry point:  

A. US Dollars 25 or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for 15 days multiple entry visa.
B. US Dollars 40 or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for 30 days multiple entry visa.
C. US Dollars 100 or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for 90 days multiple entry visa.
D. Notwithstanding anything written in clause (a) and (b), no visa fee shall be applicable to the passport holder of member states of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) for 30 days. 

Annapurna Conservation Permits and fees
During this trip you most require to obtain the Annapurna conservation areas entry permits (US$ 30.00) with TIMS permit (US$ 10) and world heritages site entry permits (US$20.00). All the relevant permits and entry fees are including on the given cost except personal donations & contribution. In case of any such conditions we will inform you if required any additional permit fees before you make a booking with us.

Please read properly our trip booking terms & conditions before your booking and fill up the online booking form (download from our website) along with the appropriate deposit of 20 % per person in advance and payment made through the bank transfer or submit your credit card (visa/master card) details with booking form. When you choose the method of advance payment in an appropriate way, a signed and completed booking form will still be required for confirmation of booking. Bookings will only be confirmed once when we received a completed and signed booking form along with appropriate amount of payment.

The final balance for your booking will be on arrival in Kathmandu. We will invoicing you before your arrival for the final balance along with other final pre departure details as appropriate. Your final invoice will show the price based on the previous quote at the time of invoicing.

This Annapurna Circuit Trekking has published a fixed departure date which is start & end at Kathmandu. START DATE means your ARRIVAL DAY in Kathmandu & END DAY means DEPARTURE DAY from Kathmandu.
