  • The perfect return to travel after the pandemic

After two long years of being stuck at home, I booked the 11-day Langtang Valley trek with Himalayan Planet Adventures to reconnect with nature. It was exactly the medicine I needed. The company was incredibly helpful with all the new travel regulations and made my arrival in Kathmandu entirely stress-free. Our guide, Hari, was a joy to be around. He had such a positive attitude and took great care of us on the trail. We hiked in March, and the weather was getting quite warm in the lower altitudes, but it was perfect once we reached Kyanjin Gompa. Sitting outside the bakery there at nearly 4,000 meters, drinking a coffee and staring at the glaciers, was surreal. The hiking trail was very quiet, allowing us to really absorb the peace of the mountains. Hari also ensured our pace was slow and steady, which really helped me avoid any altitude headaches. The entire operation was run with high safety standards and genuine hospitality. I am so grateful to the team for making my return to international travel so memorable.

  • Safe, incredibly organized, and visually stunning

We just returned from the 20-day Everest Base Camp Trek with Himalayan Planet Adventures, and I am still in awe. As an older couple from New York, we were cautious about the physical demands and the altitude. The 20-day itinerary was the perfect solution. It slows the whole process down, giving you extra nights in Namche and Dingboche to let your red blood cells catch up. Our guide was an absolute professional. He carried a comprehensive first aid kit, an oximeter, and a satellite phone, which made us feel incredibly safe. The scenery is simply unmatched anywhere else in the world. Walking through the Khumbu valley, surrounded by 7,000 and 8,000-meter peaks, is humbling. The teahouses are basic but have a wonderful communal atmosphere where you meet trekkers from all over the world. The food was plentiful, heavily relying on potatoes, rice, and lentils, but surprisingly tasty given the remoteness. The day we hiked to Base Camp was crystal clear, and seeing the infamous Khumbu Icefall up close was terrifyingly beautiful. From the chaotic but fun flight into Lukla to the final celebratory dinner in Kathmandu, Himalayan Planet managed every detail flawlessly. We highly recommend them.

  • Flawless execution from Kathmandu to the mountains

Coming from Switzerland, I have high standards for mountain logistics, and Himalayan Planet Adventures surpassed them all on this 11-day Langtang trek. The entire itinerary was executed flawlessly. The initial briefing in Kathmandu was thorough, ensuring we had the right gear. Our guide, Hari, was simply outstanding. He managed our daily schedule with precision, ensuring we arrived at the best teahouses early enough to secure good rooms. The trek up the Langtang Khola river is beautiful, with the trail winding through vibrant forests before breaking out into the spectacular high-altitude pastures. Hari's knowledge of mountain safety and acclimatization gave me complete peace of mind. The side trip to Tsergo Ri was demanding but offered views that rival anything in the Swiss Alps. The food was always fresh, hot, and served promptly. I also appreciated the private transport from Kathmandu to the trailhead, which was much more comfortable than a public bus. A truly 5-star experience from a highly professional team.

  • Springtime magic in the high Himalayas

We, a group of 4 friends, have just returned from our 8-day luxury trek, and I am still dreaming about the mountains. Traveling in April meant the lower sections of the trail were bursting with blooming rhododendrons in vibrant pinks and reds, contrasting beautifully with the snow on the higher peaks. The organization by Himalayan Planet Adventures was absolutely top-tier. They managed all our permits, logistics, and domestic transfers without a single delay. Skipping the fixed-wing flight to Lukla and taking a private helicopter instantly set a luxurious tone for the holiday. The trekking itself is moderate but requires stamina due to the altitude. Thankfully, our guide was a true professional who monitored our health closely and taught us how to breathe properly on the steep inclines. Arriving at the luxury lodges each afternoon was a joy. We had hot showers, excellent dinners, and comfortable beds waiting for us. The highlight was definitely the Hotel Everest View; the panoramic views from the dining room are astonishing. The return helicopter flight from Tengboche was the perfect finale, sparing our knees the long descent and giving us one last magnificent view of Everest. I highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting comfort in extreme nature.

  • A Perfect Nepal Experience with Himalaya Planet Adventure & the Amazing Guide Ananta🌹

From the very early planning stages , Himalaya Planet Adventure showed incredible professionalism, flexibility, and communication

My guide, Ananta. From the moment I was picked up at the airport, Ananta made me feel like I was traveling with friend— always punctual, full of positive energy, and incredibly knowledgeable about every place we visited. In just a short amount of time, we were able to explore so much of Kathmandu thanks to the smart planning and flexibility. From the breathtaking Chandragiri Hills cable car ride to the Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a unique visit to a Kashmiri mosque, and the vibrant squares of Kathmandu Durbar Square, everything was seamless.

To top it all off, we had a wonderful cultural dinner at Gokarna House, complete with live performances

Thank you again to the entire Himalaya Planet Adventure head and team for such an unforgettable journey. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Nepal — whether for a day or a week, they will maximize your experience with care, professionalism, and heart.
